Lucky to live in a place that values community, stewardship and banter ‼️
In our quarterly huis we discuss things like building repairs, waste targets, our shared veggie garden, and of course our pseudo-religion where we worship compost bins 💩
Paired with beer/wine/toys/laughs, these discussions help provide a framework for urban living that keeps people connected to each other and their surroundings — a rarity in big cities where hyper-individualism runs the show 🎪
For the past few months I’ve been capturing moments around the building for a photo book chronicling it’s evolution from concept to completion aka the present. The project isn’t just close to home, it is home! And it’s one of many needed to nudge us into a more sustainable future.
